Question 1

What is Aforma?

Accepted Answer

Aforma is a document automation platform for interior designers and architects. Pick a ready template, answer a few questions, and Aforma assembles a finished spec sheet, FF&E schedule or design brief and gives you a PDF or Word file in minutes — no manual layout.

Question 2

What document types can I create?

Accepted Answer

Spec sheets, FF&E schedules, design briefs, project proposals, contracts and other business documents. The template library has ready options for common tasks, and on paid plans you can build your own branded templates.

Question 3

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On the free plan you can create up to 3 projects and export documents to PDF. The Personal and Corporate plans remove the limits and unlock Word export, custom templates and team workspaces.

Question 4

What formats can I download in?

Accepted Answer

You can export the finished document to PDF and Word, and spreadsheet-style documents such as FF&E schedules to Excel. Word export is available on paid plans.

Question 5

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Data is stored on secure infrastructure with row-level access control (RLS): your documents and files are visible only to you and the people you explicitly share them with. The connection is always encrypted over HTTPS.

Question 6

What languages does Aforma support?

Accepted Answer

The interface is available in 7 languages: English, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Arabic and Hindi.

Question 7

Can I store files and references?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paid plans include built-in storage for files and references with folders and sharing. You can expand it with +100 GB, +500 GB and +1 TB add-ons — cheaper than iCloud and right next to your documents.
